Hello Crafty Friends,

I am considering buying the Anna Griffin Empress Diecutting & Embossing Machine and would really love to get feedback from any owners. Do you like it ? Would you recommend it and why or why not?

I have had mine about a year and really like it. I got rid of my Gemini because of the plate situation and noise. The Empress is quiet and I have not had a plate warping problem.

Thanks for your feedback! I have been checking reviews and those were exactly the concerns that most people also had. That is why I am leaning toward the Empress over the Gemini. Since I live in Canada the price is a very big factor in my choice ... the HSN price of approximately $200.00 US would convert to about $280.00 CAD but HSN will not ship to Canada. I have found it for $306.00 Canadian - which is an excellent price but I wanted some confirmation from others that it would be a quality machine . I am a pensioner living on a limited income and so I research my big purchases very carefully!

The Empress is by far the best electric die cutting machine I've used. Even though I already had a Big Shot Express I bought the Empress after trying it. It's quiet and it cuts great.

Thanks so much for your input! After doing my research I came to the conclusion that this is a quality machine and it is helpful to find that other crafters agree.


I have ordered it and am eagerly awaiting delivery!!! LOL
