Talking Customer Challenge & Chit Chat- "A Night At The Bookstore".

Welcome to The Greeting Farm's Customer Challenge and Chit Chat night!

Our Theme this month is "A Night At The Bookstore". Keeping that theme in mind, we have 3 different challenges for you! (yes, 3!) Each catagory winner will be given a choice of 1 Clear TGF Stamp set as a prize!

The Catagories are:

Favorite Book Keyword-TGFCCN2, and thegreetingfarm

Favorite Book-turned-movie Keyword-TGFCCN3, and thegreetingfarm

Favorite Children's Book Keyword-TGFCCN4, and thegreetingfarm

So break out your TGF stamps and get busy making us some "book-worthy" projects! Be sure to post your pics in the SCS gallery using the correct keywords, and make sure to put up some pics in the chat thread tonight so we can all have a look-see! You can play along all weekend if you're not able to join us tonight. You have until MONDAY, Jan. 23rd at 12pm CST to upload and winners will be announced here and on the TGF Blog on Monday!

For those of you who will be chatting it up tonight, putting your thinking caps on and be ready for some trivia!

Here's what I came up with:

Fav book-The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (popular subject at my house, hubby even helped with stamp alteration ideas!)

Fav children's book- Harry Potter

Fav book-turned-movie- Alice in Wonderland

But enough about me, let's see what you guys got!!!

Still need to upload both of mine to the challenge section, but here is my first one. . .

This is Edward, from Twilight (book turned movie challenge)

I even made his skin sparkly, but you can't tell in the photo, lol.

Oh man, those were tough! I used the sunglasses that came with the Dress Me Up set (think that's what it's called), and had to cut out the centers. Not my best cutting.

WOW!!! Gorgeous samples from you both. I haven't read the girl with the dragon tattoo but I've seen previews for the movie and I believe you totally captured that character in your tag!!!

Samantha, I love your Edward & Bella cards - right down to his red eyes!

What a great challenge - I needed something to inspire me tonight and I have an idea just what I want to do!!!

Default Book Turned into Movie

Ok I went on line to see a list of books that were made into movies and when I saw this one I Knew it would be the book I choose..

This Movie plays in my house just about "every other day".. Matilda

016-6-1.jpg

I used "My Newest" image that I got from the last "Farmers Market"
"Annika"

My oldest Daughter loved this movie soo much when she was little and Now she has my Lil one hooked on it too. She knows a lot of the lines from the movie and the scenes too.

Remeber: Miss Honey and Miss Truchbull...

Thanks! I enjoyed the book but, not actually a fan of the movie despite the GORGEOUS imagery..it strayed too far from the book for me to appreciate the actual movie...

I'm SO glad that I'm not just talking to myself right now, Sam, LOL!
