My goodness, Carisa, I can't believe you haven't seen that movie...SOOOO good! I personally don't see why they're remaking it in Hollywood...the Swedish movies are AWESOME!

Hehe, well, I also finished reading the book only a day or two before seeing the movie so it was FRESH in my mind! The imagery in the movie really is GORGEOUS, though!

Favorite Children's Book Keyword-TGFCCN4, and thegreetingfarm

So break out your TGF stamps and get busy making us some "book-worthy" projects! Here's what I came up with:

Fav book-The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (popular subject at my house, hubby even helped with stamp alteration ideas!)

Fav children's book- Harry Potter

Fav book-turned-movie- Alice in Wonderland

But enough about me, let's see what you guys got!!!

Find our TGF chit chat thread and join us!
My gosh, those are all fab, Rachel! I love how you used Tank with the creeper for the Dragon Tat one. Is that WS Paul mixed with grad Ian for the HP one? Fab...seriously! Just WOW!

Hi folks,

well, I really wanted to use my new Cupcake Anya digi so I chose "Julie & Julia" as my inspiration for the book turned movie challenge.

Cupcake Anya for Julie & Julia - photo #1

And for a little added fun, I took a second photograph of my card with my copies of "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" by Julia Child.

Cupcake Anya for Julie & Julia - photo #2

as you can see, I tried replicating the colours used on the cookbooks....was a little off with 2nd Edition but I think okay with the 1st Edition.

thanks for an interesting challenge - sadly I don't think I will have time to play along with the other two! But if I do, you can bet I'll be back with another post!

Hi everyone! I was wondering if I could get some help...I am trying to enter my card into the gallery but it isn't showing up when I search it? I have used keyword thegreetingfarm and the number of the challenge. I can see everyone elses when I search but not mine! Does it take time for it to come up? I put it on a few hours ago. Thanks so much everyone - love all of the creations so far!!

If you are not a fan club member I don't think SCS approves uploads on Sundays That's why we changed the deadline until Monday at noon. I'm sure it's there- we just won't be able to see it until tomorrow

I created 2 cards for our Book Night. I played along with favorite Children's book and fave book. It was hard to choose just one (because c'mon lets get serious, its impossible lol) so I choose my favorite series.
As a child (and now), I loved the Beverly Clearly series featuring Ramona Quimby. They are several books entitled, Ramona the Brave, Ramona the Pest, Ramona and Beezus (the sister, who eventually got her spinoff, lol) What I love about Ramona is that she's a very resourceful and brave girl. She didnt let anyone push her around. If yoy havent read the series, i highly recommend it.
Ramona the Pest Inspired by My Scrap Diary - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

My fave series is the Shopaholic series. Becky Bloomwood is a riot and a gal who loves to shop shop shop.

My cards may still not show up in the appropriate galleries.

The entries are absolutely fantastic.
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to play. I was so sick yesterday and spent most of the day in bed.
Perhaps I'll play for fun during the week.
