Default Tear-off calendar blocks - can you test?

Hi there.

I design in A4 paper size, cause I live in the UK. I am always a little worried that stuff won't work how I think it will in US letter size paper. I do my best but I don't have any US letter size left

These SHOULD cut ok but I would love it if someone could give it a go and confirm it for me.

The process is:

cut down the centre from the red line top to red line bottom
cut across at the red line
rotate the block so the text reads upside down and trim to 3.5 inches

Does that make sense??

If they work, and someone confirms that, you can grab 'em if you like them.

The PDF is 4 sheets, making 3 calendars but if they are OK I might do another page so you get 4 calendars from the print. I may do another set with a pretty scripty sort of font as well.

I'd be happy to test, but the part that says "rotate the block..." do you mean trim down the left side if it were upright?

For the left hand block. The centre line is correct, so you only trim to the outside, left of the text for the block on the left, but trim right of the text for the block on the right.

I may have to take photos

Thanks

Maybe this will help? I tried to photo how I did it , to accompany the download on my blog, but of course that used A4 card

I'm working on this set, but not sure if it's turning out as I hoped Any feedback on the font choice and if you would use it, will be greatly appreciated.

I totally appreciate you making this calendar for us. I do prefer the font that you show above. I would like to know would it be possible to add the year next to the month? Other than that, this is a beautiful calendar and I want to personally THANK YOU!!

Also, I reviewed you webpage and I really enjoyed how easy you made this project for us to do. I did like the font you used in 2012 also. I even liked where you put the year at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for your comments. I never carried thru with the above font - life got in the way a bit, as it does. But I will take your comments on board and maybe move completing this one further up my TO DO list When I do I'll add it here. I am a big fan of funky fonts, but I realize not everyone is so this more pretty version will likely appeal to them (as well as you )

The year next to the month makes the block smaller for the tear off version - putting it at the bottom (esp. for 5 week months) makes the block very tall.

Oh, that makes total sense regarding the year putting it next to the month. I find your calendars for me to be the perfect size for my project as the purse is small and these will fix perfect. Thanks again

I've done them - still have issues with the font, as it is not mono-spaced and won't align perfectly symmetrically, but here is the smaller version (blocks about 2x2.5, all months on one page)

I have another slightly larger version on my blog and will possibly make the CD case version at some point. Until then you can always print, cut, and attach it to a block cut to fit.

This one looks great. I just printed it out and it smaller than the 1st one. Thanks again!! I truly appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to do this for me...

Have a fantastic day!!

Thank you for these calendar templates. I love all of them. My question to anyone who can answer: Other than using staples to keep the months together, is there a way to keep them stuck together making it easier to tear off the month? Thanks Jill

I guess it depends on what ones you are using. If you look at the blog post here I talk about making a stack and adding glue (like Elmer's) to the top edge. Once the glue dries you can easily tear off the months just like with commercial tear-off calendars!

HTH!

Thank you so very much. I have several of these all printed, cut and ready to go on to my base. Now I have a great excuse not to finish my laundry! I HAVE to finish my calendar project. You are so awesome for doing all this. Jill
