I'm attaching pdf files for Christine or anyone else having problems downloading the MS Word versions.
I know for me, having a visual for the OSW was helpful. After playing with the pieces it is easy to adapt, and the possibilities are endless.
I love the way Jess took the time to show each card and corresponding cuts, and her tutortial to make your own template in her update is great as well.
Thank you!!!! just got back from "vactioning" !!!! If you have any more send them my way ---- thaaaaaank uuuuuuuu! ((((((( )))))))) ~~~~ ( cyber hugs! )
Your OSW pattern is great. Thanks for your generosity. I am especially happy to have the cards to look at for ideas. My OSW cards are not quite as spiffy as yours are *yet* -- but there's still hope! -- Judy
Here are the files I altered for a OSW with 15 cards. I used the original measurement layout by Mae Collins but changed it to inches instead of cm. And then because I didn't want to do complicated calculations with my paper trimmer, I rounded all of them to .25 inches. A few of the layouts were accidentally changed while I was constructing the cards, so I did some sketch mockups. (I can't figure out what's wrong with my scanner and why everything I scan comes out grainy. If I fix it, I'll repost these with crisper images...) Here's my sample.
Just thought I'd post your original message again to keep it current... Many thanks for the template and the photos. I'll be making this on Sat. Oct. 3rd for the World Cardmaking Day event at Picture Perfect & Stamps of Approval.
I know there are tons of posts and files on this, but I thought I'd share mine as well. One is the template I used, the other is a picture of each card that corresponds to the numbers on the templates. I tried to make a file with the measurements for all the layers on my samples but it didn't work.
Hope this will help someone as much as you all have helped me!
*****UPDATE - I continue to get many requests for these files to be emailed. I so wish I could help you (and I'm flattered that you want them!) but these files were on a computer that crashed in 2006 (you'll see that I put these files here in 2005) so I no longer have them to send to you.) There are lots of other one sheet wonder templates on here or you could probably try googling them. But honestly, it's so easy to make up yourself. What I did was stamp all over a plain piece of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock - lots of colors and big bold images (it took me just a few minutes). Then I went into Microsoft word and put a line right smack through the middle horizontally and vertically and then just added in other lines to divide up those sections. Nothing fancy and I am in no way a computer expert so it won't take you long to do it yourself! Or you could just skip the formatting and printing part altogether. Stamp all over one side of your cardstock. Cut it up into four "card fronts" and then cut those pieces up until you have the desired amount. So easy! Have fun!
I know this is way later than some of your posts (!) but I first did the osw from a magazine, I think it was the rubber stamper (?) or Stampers Sampler. It was a slightly different sheet (the cuts) and I think they called it "Ten from One" (10 cards from 1 sheet)

This is still one of my favorite techniques, perfect for doing a bunch of cards quickly. Christmas cards, gift sets, thank yous, cards for a the office, the list goes on.

Thanks so much for your template and sample card. I have cut the cards, now making them
Have a nice day,

Are there more of these files available somewhere?
I just happened to be looking in the forum and OSW caught my eye!
I did an 8x8 OSW last year and posted them. I just recently did 2 more and posted them along with instructions for cutting layout and mats if you're interested. I like the 8x8 because it's a little faster and still makes a nice set of cards. I use my very favorite DSP that I don't like to use a lot of. You can make your own paper too.
Here is the link to my gallery for the cutting layout, additional instructions, pictures of the cards here in blues and here in greens. I also did boxes for them to go in that you can see here and here. There is more information and close up pictures on my blog in you would like posted here.
Hope that helps!
Kathy

If there are any out there, just wanted to share a Christmas OSW set I posted yesterday using my 8 x 8 version that makes 9 cards. (See post #64 if you would like more info on how I did these.) I love doing these and have been wanting to do one for Christmas...I finally did it and now I have 9 more Christmas cards!
You can find them here in my Gallery and here on my Blog. Here's a picture of the group of them together.
Blessings!
Kathy

My word processor not able to load this so have no idea what it looks like...I do not have Microsoft Word since OpenOffice.org is suppose to be compatible (!!) but I have a general idea of what you're talking about. Thank you.
