Default Lauralynn's Baby Onsie Template

Lauralynn made the cutest baby onsie about a month and a half ago. She doesn't have a scanner and was bombarded with template requests. She actually mailed out templates to those requesting them. How nice of her! I have scanned it in and can hopefully upload it here. Thank you Lauralynn for sending out the template to so many! Will do my best to get it uploaded. If it has already been done by someone else just ignore this!

Default Help with upload

Well, I followed the instructions that Kim Wilson had on this thread to do uploads for the template. I just saw my post and it doesn't seem to be there. Kim, if you have time can you help me figure out what I may have missed in the technological translation?

Thanks in advance.

Default Thanks StampinShirley

Thank you so much for posting the template for me. Lauralynn sent so many of these out snail mail to all those who requested it. Here is a link to the original post with the cutest baby onsie you will ever see.

Thank you so much for making a computer template! I was happy to mail out paper ones, but am glad to direct everyone here! Just a tip - make two templates from this, one front and one back. With your folded card (fold at top) trace and cut the back. Then trace the front, open the card and cut. This way the front and back will be completely aligned at the sleeves and sides. Make sense?

Thanks again!

The template looks small when printed. Does it need to be blown up, or is it intended to be a smaller card?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Default size of onsie

The onsie is basically the size of a regular card, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 when folded, 11 x 4 1/4 when open.

If it doesn't come out this way, email me and I can send it to you as an attachment.

Default Baby Onsie template

I was wondering if anyone has this template that they can mail to me. I would like to print it full size. I just came across this tonight and I have two baby showers to attend next week. Talk about perfect. Thank you so much to anyone who can do this for me.

I enlarged the template on my print preview page--to 157 percent, with landscape orientation. It prints close to the size needed. It could also be taken up to a larger enlargement on legal paper in your printer.

The best way to enlarge to the actual size is to take to copy machine and enlarge using legal paper until you get it 11 inches top to bottom.

I know many people are happy to spend time and money when we ask them to go above and beyond, but it can become burdensome for them. I prefer to not burden them...its easy enough to enlarge on your computer.

ETA: I just figured that it takes 166 percent enlargement to make this image full size. When you have the attachment open, go to print preview, change paper to landscape, and set up 166 percent enlargement. Reduce margins to 0. You can print like that and you will only lose what the printer knocks off the top and bottom...about a quarter inch. Just fill that in. It's easy.

If you have legal paper, adjust the paper type first in the page setup menu. Then go to print preview, set to 166 percent enlargement and don't adjust the margins. Print and you have it.

This is such a cute card! Thank you for the hint of enlarging...it made it so easy to do and it's nice to be able to do it yourself instead of burdening others. Thank you again!

Default onsie template

[Thanks Shirley for the template. As I was printing it off I wondered if enlarging it to fit a 12 x 12 would make it big enough to include a small gift for the baby....use it as your packaging...decorated up of course...just an idea

I have tried to print this template out at 166% size. I must be doing something wrong, because it doesn't enlarge for me. I did as the directions said: to print on landscape and changing to 166% enlargement but I couldn't find a spot to decrease my margins to zero in my print setup. Has anyone gotten this to work using these directions?

I also liked this onsie template but couldn't get it to print even close to right so I created my own. I have attached a copy of the pix from my gallery. If you like it I will send you a copy of the template. You have to request this as a PM and include your email address.

It will only work for you if you when you get the file, right click and open with Windows Pix and Fax viewer. Set your Printer properties to 8 1/2 X 11 borderless paper. It will print the full length of the page. I just use a 1 in circle punch for the neckline after I have cut it out. I cut just the front from the designer paper.

Here are the pix of my girl and boy onsies: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=106794
