Default CAT's 2011 "Create-A-Calendar" Template

unlike my other calendar templates - this one isn't my own, unique design. you'll find this calendar is very similar to the SU! Create-A-Calendar that was included in the '08 holiday mini catalog. i'm attaching as an Adobe Acrobat file as font specifics really change the layout of the calendars and can mess up your printing.

SU! is no longer offering this calendar for sale, and based on the number of downloads and lack of comments, it doesn't look like it's too popular! not sure why - so link up your creations so others can see what you've made!

*****
i have dozens of calendar templates right here on SCS that i’ve been posting and offering up for free. you can find them by performing an advanced search on posts “created” by me, Cat, in the download forums. you can perform an advanced search for threads created by me in the downloads forum, or if you need a little help, send me a PM. i receive dozens of messages about my templates, so please be patient regarding a reply.

hopefully this helps you find the template you’re looking for.
*****

find my 2010 calendar here.

printing instructions:
adobe acrobat may automatically set the "page scaling" [on the print pop-up] to fit to printer margins. this increases the margin of the original file and reduces the image. be sure page scaling is set to none to ensure the file prints at the correct size.

cutting instructions:
the calendar prints three months to a page. after printing, trim 1/2" from the left margin. now, each month can be trimmed at 3-1/2" wide. trimming this way should leave you with the months *nearly* centered on each page, however each printer can be slightly different - so check your first printed copy before trimming all pages.

trim another 1/4" from just the bottom and one side of the trimmed calendar sheets and they're perfect for mounting on double-sided printed papers; using the entire sheet of paper for three calendar pages. AND the extra calendar pages will fit in an altered letter-sized business envelope!

I always enjoy your calendars, especially the bookmark calendar and the mini calendar. You are so kind and generous in sharing them with the rest of us. When will your 2011 calendars be ready?

Thanks. Peggy

hi Peggy - i've already posted all my 2011 calendars. everything's in the downloads forum - you might want to do a search on my posts in downloads.

Thanks for sharing. This is fantastic.
Is there a gallery on how others have used your calendars?

Sue, Heidi and Scatty - thanks for your truly sweet comments!

regarding your question Scatty: there aren't specific galleries, which is why i always ask people to come back to my template threads and post links. stampers get busy, and forget, or don't post pictures of their products.... i search the galleries periodically and add my username, and find projects that link back to my calendars that's cool!

I still love using the Create-A-Calendar format. I keep re-using mine every year, so thank you ever so much for updating this for 2011. Now I'm going to get started on my 2011 calendar.

Default Thank you so much.

I spent the last 6 hours trying to remember the wonderful person who made these calendars. Here you are! This is so helpful.
Now I have to go to sleep, but I will start my calendars tomorrow. If they turn out (I am new at this), I will try to post.

Thank you so much again.

Cool Links

CAT...thanks so much for your great templates...I love them all. I decided to use your "Create A Calendar" templates for my own calendars this year. I just uploaded 4 pictures to my gallery....but don't have a clue how to send you a link. I love the size, and have made them so they can stand up. I think the recipients will love how they stand up on their own. I couldn't have done it without your templates. Thank you so much!

Cat, thanks so much for sharing this! I downloaded it and plan on making several calendars for presents this year.

I didn't see a link for Marianne's calendar, so I thought I'd add it in this post...

Thanks for the link to the cover, but her entire gallery is worth a long, leisurely visit. It's fantastic!

Cool Links

OK....Cat...super job of putting the link under the word COVER...how do I do that? Can you give me a few directions? Or just tell me where I can look for directions to learn how to do that? Don't spend much time....just a quick idea. Thanks so much for your comments...but it's making the templates for the calendars that is the work....you are so great at it. Thanks again so much for sharing them with us.

I've used this one for the past two years, to keep track of birthdays, holidays and special events. Mine is fairly basic, just cut into individual months and mounted on colored cardstock with an image to match each month. But I'm so happy this template is available!
