ok i saw a tut on clear glaze pens...LOVED what i saw, i'm about 50 miles from the nearest HL or M's store...what else can you use as a resist while doing crafts...any ideas??? thanks:p

Heat embossing is probably the most common form of resist. If you use a clear ink (like Versamark) and clear powder you'll get the original cardstock colour showing through when you ink over it.
If you want to do "freehand" stuff then a clear drying glue should work - Glossy Accents or Crystal Effects will give you a raised line if you apply direct from the bottle or you could try with a brush for bigger areas.
Both of these crafty ladies gave you the ideas/techniques I was goint to give you. Also you can look on YOUTUBE as they have great vidoes to you step by step. Cann't wait to what you creat. Happy crafting ;0)
wow...thanks so much...i do have a clear glue pen...hummmm that should work...very excited...i wish there was more tv shows or a channel that had more shows on it...the tut i saw was on PBS scrapbook memories...but it only comes on saturdays...anyway that a whole different rant!!! lol thanks again!

I like watching "Scrapbook Memories Tv" you can pick what you want to watch and pause it so you can it as they do. scrapbookmemoriestv.com or DYIscrapbook.com both site do way moe then scrapbooks. Have ever watched Sandy Genovese she good. Look for Katie Brown she does all kinds of craft projects.. Martha S. in on the Hallmark channel daily two times in my area.
