I am a swim coach and am interested in creating some clipboards for use at our meets. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could make them waterproof?? Any help at all would be appreciated.
Hi Alicia - I've never done this before but I'd guess there is some type of sealer acrylic spray that you could use. I can't personally recommend any cuz I just don't know but I'm sure somebody on this site can tell you exactly what you need. Ladies??
Hi! Isn't mod podge waterproof? (I might be wrong about that...LOL) All the altered clipboards I have saw done were covered with mod podge to keep all the artists hard work nice and neat.
Sorry if I wasn't very helpful.
BTW, where do you live in Missouri? I live in MO also!
I've never used mod podge before so I'm not sure. I'll have to check it out. It's not that our clipboards get soaked, but they will get wet and I don't want to waste my time on it if it can't be used for a while.
Maybe use acrylic paint and then if you want, put a coat of clear polyurethane spray over top.
