Perhaps you knew, but in case you didn't... did you know that you can schmoosh your Vanilla Hodgepodge into a CRAFT ink pad & then polish it so that it's only in the cracks?
I'm featuring this card on Stamper Dog's blog today. You can view it larger there.
Does it ever really dry in there? I'd be inclined to seal it with clear EP just to be sure. It would suck to give it to someone, they lean over the card and get those little marks transferred to their shirt sleeve. Murphy and I being buddies n all, it WOULD happen to me!!

After you "polish" it you can't get it on you. Don't know if it is really dry but it didn't get on my hands and Murphy is my first name.

I read somewhere that you can also use pigment ink to color the hardware so that it matches your cards, not just in the grooves. I'm not sure where I read it because I can't find it now.

To do that, you have to seal it with clear embossing powder bc the ink will never dry on metal/plastic surfaces. If it did dry, we wouldn't need Staz-on! I personally think that using EP works better except for hardware with an embossed/debossed design because coloured EP will fill the cracks, obscuring the design. Unless of course that is what you want!!
