Tumbled Tiles & Sharpies

I've made some tumbled tiles and they came out great. I stamped with the Black Stazon, then I colored in with my Sharpies. The only thing is, I only have Black Stazon. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could color my stamps with Sharpies (kinda like I do with my SU! Markers) and then stamp the tiles?

I've never done it. But from what I have been told, the sharpies are a permanent marker and will not come off the stamp. If you try it let us all know. I'm to chicken to try. Maybe someone else has some experience more than I do.

I tried that...had to work really fast and clean stamps off immediately. It worked OK on something small...ink & stamp quickly, as the Sharpies dry right away. Good luck!

Sharpies do stain your stamps, but I have found StayzOn does too. That aside, Sharpies dry quickly and "huffing" does not rewet the ink, so you do have to work quickly and it doesn't work very well with large stamps because of the quick drying.

Sharpies are a fast drying permanent marker which means you either work really, really fast or all you'll do is color your rubber. It's really not worth it. If you want colors, invest in a few more stazOn pads. They are totally worth it.

I did this last week, I used an old yellow sharpie and scribbled over the stamp that was stained and then wipped with non-acatine fingernail polish remover. I then cleaned them again with the mist afterward for conditioning and the cleaned right up. They look brand-new. Sorry for the spelling. :( no spell check. Can't work with out it.
