Trifold
I must be completely left-brained, but I had the same problem. I finally had a "blast from the past" and thought of my old geometry class. The folds have to make right angles at the top of the card and perfectly overlap. I took my first triangle fold and measured the long side. I marked the middle, and went equal ways on either side of the middle and marked fold lines. Then, you measure from the top corner...equal amounts on either side. fold so that each "flap" perfectly lines up on the top, and it worked every time. In fact, I marked the "spots" on my SU pad and made six in a flash!
I've had lots of fun making my own reversible paper by using different rollers on either side. I used some patterned paper to wrap around the large Hershey Bars, and stuck them in the pocket. They turned out pretty well. I have done some Easter ones for my grandchildren to stuff with gift cards from McDonald's, Chick-Filet, Wal-Mart, etc.
Be patient with yourself. I had to pitch lots of paper before I figured it out. ALSO....I learned that thinner paper is easier to fold. I swear by CTMH and SU papers, but I bought some cheap paper and had better luck.
