I seen an idea for storing SU punches on something they bought from IKEA,but I can't remember the name of them.I'm going to Vancouver tommorow and I wanted to buy some. Help
Go down to your local hardware store. Find the simple chrome towel bars. At our Ace Hardware the 24" length costs 3.97. I am an interior designer and have been helping one of my Stampin friends organize her crafting area. So after I spent about 30 hours researching options, we settled on this. they are strong enough to hold then entire length worth of punches. They just need to be anchored into wall anchors, which can be the plastic ones that hold screws and screw in themselves. (Get those at Ace also - cost about 50cents)
Keeps them close at hand and easily visible, plus not tangled up with each other.
If you need more info, ask me more on this and I'll email you a pic.

I just took a clear shoe rack holder that I bought at Walmart for $7.00 and hung it on my door...holds all my punches in there. It's nothing fancy but it serves its purpose.
If you would like, its in my other stuff in my gallery.

I bought curtain rods at wal mart. I think they were $2.97 each. They are gold and have sort of roundish finials on the ends so the look nice, too. They are adjustable so I can make them what length I want. I love them!! Bought a couple to start with but have bought more since then.
Wow, what a great concept. I'm not the one who originally asked the question, but would love to see the picture. Don't know if this is the way to do it, or send to my e-mail address: [email protected] Many Thanks!
I originally posted the directions, because as an interior designer, I am working with my SU demonstrator.
I'm not sure the curtain rods will be strong enough to stand up to the wieght of moving the punches on and off their storage place without bending.
Let me know how they work after they've been up and being used for awhile. I'm always up for cheaper, if better.
I've been using my curtain rods from walmart for about a year and have not had any problems with them. I have about 15 punches per rod. Love it because now I can see them all and easy to store without having to use drawer space.
Here are a couple pics of mine...I have a lot of weight on them so I used the extra brackets to help support them...they work GREAT!!! I can't remember what size I got, but get the ones the extend long....they are the ones that come with the extra bracket for the middle.
