Ok, so here are my favorite jeans, now even more favorite since I stamped them...

Ok, so I had the vision a couple of months ago, and I knew the exact layout I wanted to do.
Here's what I used.
Lumiere in Super Copper and Metallic Bronze (found the color combo on the Lumiere website, they used that combo on a lamp shade, very cool!)
Foam Brush
Autumn Leaf Prints Stamp Set
I took a stamp set case and put a very wet paper towel (folded into a square big enough to hold all 4 leaf stamps when not in use) inside. I poured two puddles of Lumiere (one of each color) on the other side of the plastic case.
Using the foam brush, I put a "dollop" of paint on the stamp. I gooped it up pretty good. Then I stamped away, working in sections. Sometimes I used both colors at the same time and got shadowing on the leaves. The goopier, the better, as it showed off the grains of the leaves better.
When I wasn't using a stamp, I set it rubber side down on that very wet paper towel to keep it moist. When picking a stamp up off the wet paper towel to use again, I had to press it into a dry paper towel and apply more paint. *When finished w/stamping part of project, wash stamps in the sink, rubbing all the Lumiere off, and allowing ample time to dry when done.
Once my design was complete, I did some splatters w/a paint brush and more Lumiere. It was fun flinging the paint, but I did get some in places of my craft room I didn't want to, so be careful if you do this step.
Hang jeans to dry, overnight is great. Then wash and dry. It's that simple with Lumiere, which is designed for painting fabrics.
Ok, so share your project w/me if you decide to try something out. Lumiere comes in a plethora of colors, so I'm excited to see what some of you come up with...
