Default split the difference technique?

 Hi all
I saw a card recently (might have been here) and it said that it was made using the split the difference technique. I have googled and searched here but cannot find an explanation. Can someone kindly share with me what this technique please?
thanks

Greetings Deborah, and WELCOME to SplitCoastStampers!

Yes, you did see samples of the technique "Split the Difference" (also known as "Split Negative") right here on SCS. This was a Technique Lovers Challenge back in May... and the directions... as well as sample cards... can be found HERE.

Have a FUNtastic day... and please do share your creations in the gallery for all to enjoy.

Default Split Negative or Split the Difference

I think this is the one.
* Stamp your image with black ink on white cardstock
* Stamp the same image with white ink on black cardstock
* Cut each stamped piece in half at exactly the same spot
* Line up one black half and one white half with each other

Here is one card -- Split Difference -- by genescrapper. Click on the TLC65 in Keywords and you'll see 90 more pictures.
