spinner card question

I know on the resources page there are instructions for how to do a spinner card using a circle punch at either end. I would like to do one without the circles. What are the dimensions for the width of the opening then? Obviously the length is as long as I would need it to be. TIA

Here are some instuctions that Joleen posted way back when... (before it was in the resource area), she didn't use the circle punch. She made her slit 1/2 inch. ;)

If you have a window punch that works great for the slit, that's what we used at my demos house.

I made my spinner card without the circle holes. I just measured slightly larger than my dimentional popdot thingy and but smaller than my pennies. Does that make sense?

I use the word window punch for my spinners ;)

I used to cut them by hand until we came out with the Word Window Punch. This makes it SO easy. My kids from Kids Stamp Camp can make their own spinner cards thanks to the punch. Give it a try!!!!

Eh? What the heck is a "word window punch" and where do I find one? If it's in the SU catalog, I'm screwed, since I have no idea where it is. :eek: New stamp room is a mess of boxes.

Not sure how to do this. I am new to site. Question Where do you get word stamp for spinner cards? I do not do well with exacto knife.
