So I have been a stamper for 4 years, a demo for almost 3 years but I am still getting some of the products for the first time. My latest product is Pearl-Ex. So my question to you is, I have Pearl-Ex, for the first time ever. So now what do I do with it? How do you use your Pearl-Ex?

There are a couple of tutorials on the Resources Page that use Pearl-Ex. A simple first test is to stamp with VersaMark and then light brush some Pearl-Ex over the image.

Emphasis on LIGHT... my first attempt at Pearl-Ex with a brush was quite horrific and I ended up throwing the card away. A little goes a LOOOOOOOONG way.
Wow! Thanks for all the info! I had the same question about how or what to do with them!
Future must work because it is an *acrylic* clear coat rather than a wax?

I'm guessing. All I know is that it is beautiful! :-D

No kidding! LOL I just saw my newsletter and saw the link to all the Pearl-Ex ideas and that there will be tutorials. I just started laughing. Thanks so much!

I have tried the acrylic/powder and the lumiere/powder and both are awesome. Pearl Ex is the stuff for getting hummingbird wings to look like, uh, hummingbird wings.
Also big now is putting pearlex in a fine mist bottle with a little alcohol, lots of water, shake and spray. Very pretty color wash effect.
I usually apply PearlEx with my Dove blender pen -- I don't have trouble with smearing once it has dried. (It has the same 'sealing' properties with the chalks, BTW.) I haven't tried it with the SU! blender pen, but expect the results would be similar...
