Default pop up tutorial

Can anyone direct me to a tutorial or directions for a basic pop up card? I saw the pop-up accordian in the resources area, but i just want a basic pop up. I am making housewarming invitations and want to do a pop up house inside.

Thanks

look in the top right hand corner of this page for the resources tab. It takes you to the tutorials for lots of different techniques. HTH

I also wish there was a basic pop up tutorial. If you're looking for what I was looking for, you might check out this site. HTH!

Default Pop-up Tutorial

Thank you so much.

I have looked in the resources as i said and there isnt a basic pop up tutorial.

That is a great tutorial in the link you gave ttvp_mama but i am hoping to find one that doesnt layer the material so i am not wasting so much. As i said i am making housewarming invites so will be doing a lot.

I am going to stumble through and be creative and make some kind of support that i can just attach to a 1-ply cardstock to hold the house pop-up

This site (http://www.technologystudent.com/designpro/popup1.htm) has asic pop-up templates...maybe you could add a house shape to one of these?

Thanks for all your replies. I figured it out on my own. I took a 1"x4" strip of paper and formed a box, which I then attached to the card and attached the house to that. I will post it in my gallery when next week when my husband comes home with the camera.
