I was looking for exactly those instructions a few weeks ago when another poster needed help making flowers. She ended up using my other suggestion of quilled paper roses, but DANG I wish I could have found this then!
The attachment is too blurry to read the words, although I can "follow" the pictures just fine. Does anybody know how big the spiral is supposed to be when you start out? I know it probably varies, depending on how big you want your flower. I'm just wondering if it gives a specific measurement on the tutorial.
you can do this with the coffee filters too and it looks so cool
my daughter loves it she is six now but i made this a year ago for her play dinner table so it is a little squished but it does still look good
At first I tried a circle that was about 3 inches in diameter and ended up with a giant flower. For my card I used a 1" circle punch. I think it is the perfect size. I am going to try a 1 1/2" circle today. It was really easy to glue to the card. I just added a drop of Aleene's tacky glue to the bottom of the spiral flowers and put them on the punched flowers. Then I added just a drop of Aleene's tacky glue to adhere the flowers to the card. I made my leaves by folding a piece of green cardstock through my paper crimper at an angle. Then I cut out a leaf shape.
Someone stop me, these flowers are so fun and easy to make. I made my third card Cut out Flowers.
Thank you Archana for sharing this technique.
This card is absolutely gorgeous.... such a beauty... the glitter has made it stand out so well... the card looks like it has popped out from those gardens we see in the fairytales' books
very nice.....just wondering where you glue it.....is it at the end of the spiral or underneath it

What I have started doing is punching my 1" circle and then punching that circle with a smaller circle about 1/4" circle and then cutting my spiral. I then take the smaller circle and glue it to the bottom of the flower. I have attached a photo showing the steps. I also attached a photo showing the tools.

MariLynn,
Take a peek at my blog and it shows an easier way to make them. I know you are gonna love it!
