.....maybe!?!?! There are so many techniques out there that I have never heard of, so maybe this has been done before. I dunno.
I was playing around with my reinkers tonight and ended up with a background that I liked and thought was pretty cool. ( I can't wait to try it with halloween color reinkers and booglie eyes)
Wonderful background technique, Mandy! The card was fabulous, you used all my favorite colors! I am getting a couple rolls of that ribbon so I can dye it, too, thanks for the inspiration!
Looks great - embossing over the marbling on paper as you have done here is like fabrics that have pattern printed and in the weave. Lots of eye candy.
Location: in my own little world... they like me here!

You are just the coolest for sharing this....
If it's been done before, I've never heard of it.
Cool card and technique. I'm saving that one to try later!

***a little added note about this technique. If you are going to use a combination of colors that get *muddy* when mixed, do the lighter colors first, then dried with heat gun. Then go back and do the darker colors.
