Default New SU PetalPoint Chalk Pads

Anybody have some good uses for this? I bought one and don't know what to do with it!

I have used them on dominos (heat set with a gun) and it gives good opaque color. It looks great on glossy paper as well as regular. AThere have been beautiful cards posted in the gallery with them.

Here is an older thread with great information. Search through teh gallery as well. Have fun!

I don't have them, but I have used them at an upline meeting. We used them for direct-to-paper, and they give a lovely effect when they're dry.

They are WONDERFUL ink pads! Use them like you'd use any other ink! If you use them on a solid stamp (like a shape or something), you'll see that you get better coverage than you do by using Classic ink. It's a lovely chalk-like finish, but very soft but very opaque. I had all 38 of the Cats Eyes of these pads long before I even had heard of SU (can you imagine?!), so they were my favorite inks for a long long time.

So they're great for things other than direct-to-paper. I only wish SU could carry more colors - what would be awesome would be if these inks came in all the SU colors. I guess that would be redundent, however.

Get some - you want be sorry!

They even dried on acetate for me. I love those pads!
