Talking Master One Sheet Wonder (OSW) Thread

Hello Everyone! I was hoping to make a master One Sheet Wonder Thread where there really wasn't any "comments" but people could post about OSW provided their post includes ALL of the following:
1) A link or photo that shows exactly what your OSW can make
2) The exact template used to make it (there are many OSW templates)-and if you have the kind that prints directly onto the paper, that is ideal!
3) The supplies list (Including a template for the coordinating or matting color and any embellishments for the ones you are showing)

I love so much of what I see about the OSW on split coast stampers, but have found that sometimes the photo is on one thread, the template is on a different post, and no one ever mentions what the dimensions are for the coordinating cardstock. Can you great crafters help me create this concise and useful thread? Thank you so much!!!

hanging around to see what is posted. I just did a post on my blog about OSW, and it was confusing to find the templates, pictures of the cards and directions all in one place.

Hi there! I am a Stamper On Staff for Scrapbook News and Review and I just did a stamping challenge for our message board this past weekend for World Card Making Day that involved a One Sheet Wonder template I personally created.

It is almost everything you've asked for, without actually coming pre-stamped: ;)
- A downloadable template that will give you twelve card elements from just one piece of 8.5 x 11 inch card stock
- Will print directly onto your card stock in the exact dimensions (just be sure to turn your printer's border and margin settings OFF first, so the template will print all the way to the edges)
- a photo (below) that shows A.) what my stamped OSW looks like prior to cutting, and B.) what the finished cards look like.

Please note that piece #12 is my "Wild Card" piece... use it however YOU choose. In the finished photo, you'll see that I used my pieces with circle punches... punched and adhered in a random pattern.

As for the embellishments (list), for the preservation of time (my OSW challenge was only during the course of one day) I left them off, but I think it's pretty self explanitory what type of matting and embellishing can be done to further enhance the cards. ;) Brads, snowflake diecuts, ribbon... all would work well with these particular card designs.

Here is a link to the challenge thread, which also includes helpful tips for making your OSW: THREAD Let me know if I can help in any way. Hope this works for you!

One Sheet wonders is a sheet of cardstock that gets stamped completely with different stamps, then cut up into different shaped pieces then used on cards. They make quick cards and often 8-12 from from one stamped sheet.
Click on the link and it will take you to lots of samples.

I was hoping we could give this thread new life! I really would love to see OSW resources all on one thread without all the chatter! If there are other threads I should be looking at, please let me know.

I figured out why...it's because I posted it under Stampin' Up! demo forum, and if you aren't a SU! demo, you can't view it...I am going to move it in a minute and repost the link!
Sorry about that!
Tina

Default Simplest OSW in the world

I designed this OSW to be SIMPLE! No one needs directions for making the cards because it is a simple idea. You stamp the OSW for cards(8 1/2 X 11) or scrapbook pages (12X12). Cut in 1/4's. The cut or tear each 1/4 into appropriate shape to make 8 cards or pages. These pieces layer onto standard cards or 6X6 scrapbook pages. Here is the template and the samples. These do not print onto the paper but it is SOOO simple you don't need them too.

Template for cards:
SUPER SIMPLE One Sheet Wonder by kylara at Splitcoaststampers

Card Samples:
Sample of cards for OSW template by kylara at Splitcoaststampers

Template for 6X6 pages:
OSW Bragbook template by kylara at Splitcoaststampers

I am always available to answer any questions.

I am going to try this over the weekend. I have wasted a few sheets of cardstock trying to create these OSW cards. So, I will let you know the outcome on Monday.

Red face my own one sheet wonder

I was just playing around in Photoshop and made this...you don't have to cut out the 3, 4, 5, and 6 triangles separately...you can just cut along the line in the middle so that you have 3 and 5 on one side and 4 and 6 on another. I haven't made any cards with it...like I said I was just playing around...sorry it's kinda crudely drawn...
