Default Ideas to make it "snow" on Christmas card?

I am new to all of this. Well, not new, but slow. I would REALLY like to create a glitter effect that makes it look like it's snowing.

My idea: Sno Globe cut from Cricut, pictures of my girls and "glittery snow". Anyone got ideas about how to do this??

I've thought about glimmer mist, but that's too fine. Stickles are great for accumulation snow, but what about the falling snow?? I'd really like some other ideas. OK, well, thank you!!!

Those were great! I've printed out the tutorials. I looked for this, but clearly wasn't thinking it through. These are really, really cool! Thanks so much!!

another way I like to make it look like real snow is to use a snowflake stamp but stamp it with the versamark and no color.. then use either glittery clear embossing powder ( like SU's iridescent ice) or the heat and stick powder with dazzling diamonds glitter. and heat set. then the snowflakes in the background dont have color--- just white and sparkle... just like real snowflakes!! this turns out so pretty I love it!

Default Sty-foam snow

Just take two pieces of white sty-foam (such as sty-balls found in any craft store) and rub them together....they will make 'snow'.
Put glue on your card whereyou want the 'snow' to be and sprinkle the grated sty-foam over it. Shake off excess, as you would with glitter and let dry.
If you want the snow to be glittery you can add it after you shake the excess snow off and while the glue is still wet and allow it to dry with the sty-foam-snow.
