Question I need a packaging idea

Hello! I'm making bubble magnets for my best friends wedding. I'm struggling to come up with a good way to make them look presentable, and not just a bunch of magnets sitting there. I'm tossing around putting them in small acetate boxes with a bow, but will anyone know what they are? I also thought about sticking them to some kind of thin sheet of metal? Any ideas would be much appreciated. I couldn't find bubble magnets on this site so here is a link to the bubble magnet instructions.

I made a bunch of these a couple of Christmas's ago. I put mine in cute Christmas theme tins that were available during the season. They do look cute in tins, and they stick so nicely to the bottom, lol.

I googled marble magnet packaging and found this:

"Step Seven (Optional): Gift packaging.

The popular method for packaging these as gifts has been to use decorated candy tins, since the magnets stick nicely to the tins. However, I have also used the little organza bags with ribbon drawstrings that are sold for wedding favors. I line the bags with the iridescent clear plastic "grass" that's sold for packing gifts, lining Easter baskets, and so on."

If you put them in the little organza bags, they could stick to each other inside. If you are worried folks won't know what they are, you could create a cute little tag to attach on the outside of the bag. Since it's for a wedding, maybe even something kind of corny, like "Magnets - We're Stuck on You."

Here is a link to Altoid-type tins at SKS Bottle & Packaging: SKS Bottle & Packaging, Metal Containers, Metal Tins, Metal Hinge Top Tins

I've ordered from them with no problems at all. Very nice product and quick delivery.

Also, here is a link to the gallery with several marble magnet projects. I just glanced quickly, so I didn't see if there were any packaging ideas: flat marbles - Homemade Cards, Rubber Stamp Art, & Paper Crafts - Splitcoaststampers.com

You were both very helpful. I tried Home Depot today. They did have some sheets of metal, BUT the guys working there said if I bought something to cut it up the sheets would have really sharp edges. I really wanted to try that route. I'll probably go with the tins. If anyone else has ideas I love to hear them!

I assume these are favors of some sort? You could just set up a small display at the wedding, set a stack of organza bags or stamped glassine bags or whatever on the side, and leave up a pretty note about the favors (ie, take two per person or what have you).

You could display the magnets on cookie sheets (give them to the bride and groom as a present at the end of the night) or magnetic dry erase boards (also a nice gift). If the wedding isn't til later this year, you'll probably find something awesome and magnetic with all the back to school and dorm supplies.

Great idea, Nacho! That is an easy idea too, and less expensive than what I was thinking of....hmmmmm....... There is a magnetic paint at Michaels I might be able to use on something to stick them on. magnetic dry erase might be good, because then i could just write really big on it for everyone to take two or three or whatever.

Not sure if this is helpful but I sold some similar to these at a craft fair last year. I cut down a magnetic sheet (just search for "magnetic sheets" and you should find plenty) then stuck these to it and packaged it in clear bags with a topper.

Looked something like card candy in the end. Example - Yelo Card Candy by cr8zyscrapper - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers except mine had a magnetic sheet instead of an acetate sheet. I don't have any pictures of mine to show unfortunately
