Default how to print templates without seeing all the lines?

HI I am new to stamping and love all the templates and boxes. How do you copy them onto paper? do you print directly on card stock? How do you enlarge onto a 12 x 12 paper? I feel realy dumb, I am sure it is obvious. Thank you so much!!!

I guess I would want more info for your request. When you print a template that you download onto CS, you sort of have to have the lines in order to cut and fold. You just make sure the lines are on the inside. The other option is to print it on white, cut it out and then hold it tightly on the paper while you cut it hoping you don't slip.

As for SU "templates", if you are talking the 12 x 12 punch out sheets, we aren't supposed to copy those. You can laminate them and use them to trace on a paper, but it's sort of frowned on since we sell them.

This takes a little computer saavy: When I know what color I am going to make my box, I scan the template, change the line color to a little bit darker than my paper (on my PrintShop program) and print it out right on the cardstock.

My printer doesn't hold 12x12 paper so in some cases I got to a copy shop, and have it printed there.

I usually get my templates off the Internet or from friends - or I carefully break down a cute box I got as a gift.

I'm not as computer savy... so I print right onto the card stock, but I set my printer to "fast". It prints faster but the big advantage is, it is much lighter!

I've just printed one on heavier paper then cut it out and keep it as a template, then trace it with pencil on my cardstock and cut out. Then I can erase the pencil lines.
