Default How to make EASY CREPE PAPER FLOWERS!

I just tried this today.. so easy..
see my blog for pics!
For each flower, this is how I did it:

* Tear off about a yard of the crepe paper streamer. You can find these at party stores, dollar stores for pretty cheap! They come in all sorts of fabulous colors!
* Now kinda smush up the entire length of the streamer, fold it, smoosh it up.
* Next, hold one end and start swirling the streamer around and around.. till you have a circle you are holding in your hand! Squish down to make it even more flatter.
* Adhere to the front of your project, and finish off with either a brad, a button, or if you love to sew and have a sewing machine or even by hand, use some embroidery floss to finish off the center of the flower. Done!

Making these was really easy...
I think I'm gonna be on the lookout for some more colors and some colored embroidery floss!

ummm? I opened your blog twice over and scrolled down searching for your crepe flowers but couldn't find them? Not sure why, I suspect it is at the top of your blog? Have you more than the two links showing here?

Great idea. The only problem with crepe paper is that if the crepe paper gets wet and touches something else that color is permanent. (yes I got mine wet and cannot get the color out) YOu can do the same thing with strips of tissue paper and the color does not run or ruin anything.
