I like to use the edge of a table or counter to soften my cardstock then i tear it and roll it with my fingers. Another nice effect is wetting your paper and crumpling it and then smoothing it flat and letting it dry before tearing and rolling.
I bought an edge distressor at my LSS. It's a little plastic circle with a pie wedge cut out of it. There's a little razor blade in it that scrapes and wears the edge og the cardstock. A fun tool for only $.99.

Debra,
I have the same tool. I do like it. If you have an envelope opener you can use it also. Wet the egdes alittle with an aqua flow brush and it really works good.

I saw this too at my LSS and thought what a cool little gadget!
