I'm fairly new to stamping and may have gotten far ahead of myself with this idea. Just did a forum and You Tube search and couldn't find what I am looking for..............I want to apply Mica on my Christmas cards to give an image of snowflakes falling in a random pattern. Do I spray an adhesive and then sprinkle the flakes? Will the adhesive dry and show in areas that do not receive any Mica. I guess the operative word here is random. Is Mica the product I should use or is there another product that would look like snow and be easier to work with. The Mica has been purchased. Just today I bought some glitter and have been watching tutorials on how to apply that, so now you know how new I am.
For 'bumpy' or other materials other than paper, I love the liquid glass stuff. You can get it from a Close To My Heart lady, or Stampin' Up!. I'm not sure about other brands as I haven't used them, but I'm sure there are similar products at your local craft store.
So you have fine mica flakes like glitter? They also come in huge flakes like glass pieces. When I clicked thru from the newsletter, that's what I was thinking of. How big/small are they?
