I was thinking of doing a "sewing box" cantilever box, and am still trying to decide on the handles. Then I saw a video (thanks to this site) on the differences between chip board, grunge board and grunge paper.
I think the grunge board would be too stiff. I would love to use some decorative punches for the handles, but the cardstock would be too soft.
But if we could find grunge paper it would be perfect - "bendy" but not "teary", and would hold up over time.
The one thing I don't like about the papertape is the color... it's going to show from inside the box when the lid is opened. From what I can gather, the grunge paper is a light grey (I don't know if it comes in other colors) that can be inked over.
