Default Glass Etching Help

Hi there,

I've re-read the other posts, but can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I finally found WHITE Armour Etch Cream (had to tell 4 managers that their stuff was old!) So I tried it according to the tutorial here and put the stuff on thick. It was actually a small area to fill also so I barely touched the cream to move it around. Well in the one area where I moved it over I can see a swirl mark. I know the dir. say to swipe l-r then top-bottom - do you have lines on your's or am I doing something wrong?

Also, has anyone tried using the etch-bath stuff? I was thinking it might be easier to do the really small votive holders that look like apertif glasses that way especially because they are round.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
