Default Gamsol favor, please! *moved*

Okay, I think I give up on finding anyone helpful working in my local Michael's store! Since I have to find the Gamsol myself if I want to get it, will someone be kind enough to post a picture of what their bottle looks like?? There are soooo many little bottles in that aisle, and I'm not quite sure, visually, what I'm looking for...

Sort of a dorky request, but I'd love it if you could help a girl out

I got my bottle at Tall Mouse (craft store), Mona Lisa brand. It says, "Odorless Paint thinner." 8 oz. I don't remember the cost. It is in a 4" tall, 3" across and 1" wide rectangular white bottle. There is a picture of the Mona Lisa on the bottle. (I live in So. Cal so there might be a Tall Mouse around where you live, too.)

Also known as odorless mineral spirits. If you go to the acrlic and oil paint isle at Michaels or AC Moore, you will find severl brands. Most important to get the "odorless" variety so you don't have the fumes.

Don't bother asking the clerks........they are dorks. Not one knows a thing. Just go to the art aisle in Michaels and look at the squareish bottles with Mona Lisa's picture on the front. 8 oz for about $6 or so. Should say Odorless Mineral Spirits. If you can't find it at Michaels, order online from www.dickblick.com under the name of gamblin Gamsol (Gamblin is the trade name).

I went to my local Wal-Mart and purchased orderless Mineral Spirits ...it is in the paint section...it is less than $3.00 and it works like a charm with my PrismColor pencils. Hope this helps.

You need to make sure you get art grade odorless mineral spirits!! I don't think the hardware kind is the same.

Here you go: Mona Lisa Odorless Paint Thinner

I know this is a huge bottle... but the smaller ones have the same image... Just make sure it says 100% mineral spirits on the back.

Have a FUNtastic day!

Dancing Rain
PS: Whenever I'm searching for something in a store, and not sure what it looks like, I use Google and type in the information to find a picture... in this case I used "Mona Lisa Mineral Spirits".

I ordered mine from Inky Antics. They show a picture on their website: inkyantics.com.
