It's actually different than polished stone. For some reason, I can't post a link here, but if you do a search for Fossil Stone technique you should find something. I used photo paper yesterday when I was playing with the technique (don't have any glossy white), but didn't try it on whisper white or a naturals CS.

Hey, I like this method. It does remind me of what the alcohol inks produce. I also used the craft sheet by Tim Holtz to spray glimmer mists on or alcohol inks on and rubbed the card on it face down and/or dragged them over for different effects, as well. Makes really cool background paper. That's why Basicgrey paper sends me to the moon and I can't cut it for weeks! lol
i love your cards, the thomas kinkaide is exceptional, how did u do the tile look?
I took my white cardstock and used a bone folder and scored a line across the whole card every inch. I did the same thing the other way. Then I stamped it with the background stamp. That's all there was to it.
