I used the flip flop pattern on the craft foam for my daughter's recent Sweet 16 party, and everyone loved them. (OK, except for her guy friends.) Easy to make- did all the cutting & assembling on my lunch hours, so I didn't have to cart alot of stuff with me, and helped keep it a surprise.

Is this the kind of flip-flop card you were talking about? when I opened this thread I thought I was going to find the card itself that kind of does a flip-floppy kind of thing when you open it. Hummmm wonder if I can find one and then come and post a link.

Did you make the foam flip flops as invitations? Centerpieces perhaps? Do you have a link to a picture? Would love to see them!

I found the inspiration on kelly.richibee.ca web site, and do a search for flip flop. (sorry,I haven't done enough posts to link to it)

I didn't have a template,so I just traced one of my daughter's flip flops, reduced it on the office copier until it was down to the size of a business envelope. I only did this for the invitations. Did the rest of the decorating in Sweet 16 decor.

My sister in law makes cakes, and we found a flip flop cake that she made for the top of a sheet cake. If I get the magazine info from her, I'll be happy to get that to you if you'd like it.
