Distressed & Glazed Brown Bag Technique
I have a fun and really easy technique to share that incorporates a few basic supplies but offers up great results. I think it's perfect for autumn because the colors lend themselves so well to this time of year.
Basic technique...Distressed & Glazed Brown Bag Technique
Crumble up a section of brown paper bag, smooth & flatten by hand. Rub Distress Inks over the paper. Cover with a layer of Glossy Accents and let dry. The Glossy Accents blends and lends movement to the Distress Inks as it dries and creates a beautiful depth and texture. After the GA has dried, paper punch, hand cut or die-cut as desired.
I used leaf punches and created this Happy Autumn Canvas
. You of course could use it as a background paper, cover chipboard shapes, or even stamp on it in addition to cutting it up.
