BrooksKaren I can give you a pdf for a smaller version of the snowman template. I was able to get 9 on a page and they fit the little hershey bars I gave out for Halloween. I just bought mini gloves at the dollar store and used the fingers at hats.
I'm in awe of those who can play around with powerpoint and share....thanks so much!
As for the adhesive for the sour cream boxes you need to use 1/4 inch tacky tape or sook wang. Make sure to apply pressure to the tape to make it stick. I used 1/8 inch at first and the bottoms came apart. Also the idea of crimping the edge of the bottom helps.

Can you post this pretty please??
Or send it to me also?
I really need to learn to make these digital documents.
I am dying for a cute Elf Pillow poem done in a cute circle design but have been unable to find one. I know I will have to just figure out how to make one.
I am just beat now. I have over 200 regular cards and 300 Christmas cards. I think I have over kill now and need to step away from the cardstock. I have 9 days of craft fairs in the next month and hope that I sell all these Christmas cards at least.

Does anyone have a file they are willing to share that will print the snowman candy bar wrapper correctly? I cannot get it to fit without wasting a ton of paper. I am tech-challenged I guess. I would greatly appreciate it!
If you pm me, I can send you what the other nice folks sent to me. At least I think I can do it! I, too, am very tech-challenged, but I believe I can just forward them to you. Surely one of the sizes will work for you.

That would be awesome. I am looking for the regular size wrapper. Sent you a pm.

I know this is probably a lot to ask however I would love to have the larger sized snowman template and the smaller sized snowman template. Thank you so much for considering my request!!!
Wow! Those are complicated cards to make in bulk! Must've taken you a lot of effort and time! I want to make 40-50 cards each for christmas and Thanksgiving for my coming fair this saturday. Yeah I know I'm asking myself too "how in the world am I going to do that?!?!" LOL But you inspire me! I do think I'll need to cut my initial count to half...we'll see
I will try to post it here for everyone to download, but I will also send it to you via email. I'm at work and the template is blocked so I'll have to wait until I get home. It is 10:30 am my time.
Thanks PrairieJen - goodies for my munchkin's class just got so much easier... now I just need to get the mini hershey bars while they are still available and find cute mini gloves for hats

just searched all over for the gloves. Everyone (Target, Kmart, Walmart, etc.) seems to package them in sets of two: one black pair and one other color. Black is not cute in my opinion. Joann's had them separately. Probably could find them at a dollar store, too.

thank you for the update - I agree black just isn't as cute as a nice blue stripe ... I might need to break into my "send extra gloves to daycare for those who forget them" stash instead of shopping

I kind of like the black mini glove hats with a bright lime green scarf (ribbon) tied around their neck!
I'll post a pic of mine later.
I used black when I was adding a scarf; such as the full size and mini size candy bars. But for the nuggets, I don't add scarves. I did decide the black might be okay in a box with bright red and bright green. But it is kind of blah compared to the bright pinks and purples on the nuggets.

Thank you Lisa and others for the compliments. I get my ideas on this board, thanks to all the great ladies out there. I just finished making up the bags of reindeer poop and each bag cost me 1.05 for the chocolate. Considering I am selling the snowmen wrapped chocolate bars for 2.50 I guess I should keep the cost of these reindeer poems to 2.50 or do you think I could get 3.00. My craft fairs start next weekend and I am getting very excited.

If the bars are the bigger ones I would sell them for $3 and then the reindeer poop for $2.50. That way it kinda balances out kwim? HTH!

What type of chocolate did you use? Maybe sell both for $3.00 or 2/$5.00?

Morning, I am in hyper mode this morning with new stamp sets from Stampalicious. I want to make 100 more funny cards to add for any off color customers. I was going to just stamp and color the image and mount on a DP of a Christmas pattern. Simple but colourful.
As for the chocolate bars used for my snowman they were Jersey Milk. I bought them at Costco but they all have a sewn touque. The reindeer poop was more expensive but that was just cutting out different shapes and putting them together. People might think there was more work in the sewn items. But there seems to be more in the poop package. ha ha ha poop package that is going to be my expression of the day.
poop package, poop package, poop package, bring on more coffee
I have had great success with stocking stuffer items. I've never tried to sell cards but reading posts from others, it seems that cards can be hit or miss.
I'd go for the stocking stuffers! Good luck! I'm having my first craft fair tonight. It's only two hours so I'm hoping for lots of shoppers. It's at my niece's elem school so I tried to do more teacher gift type things. DD will take photos and I'll post later.
I agree. Stocking stuffers sell better. There are some people who really love cards and will buy several at a time. But those people are few and far between. Everybody needs stocking stuffers!
I just started this year at a friday market. It was hit or miss with people but my cards are very reasonably priced. I am trying to extend my card making into the fall months so I am bringing my cards plus I have Christmas cards 6 for $10.00. These are a real steal, some of them should be regular priced. I have a business card and want to establish myself so I am not worried if I don't sell cards. I am slowly getting a following and if I am persistent I will be doing pretty good in the future.
I have been barely able to keep up with these threads these past few weeks as I'm like a mad thing, cutting, stamping, sticking and filling as I get ready for fair next week. Serves me right for all the time off I took this summer. Congratulations to all you ladies on fairs so far and best of luck to everyone selling this weekend. Oh and big thank you for all the downloads posted and sample photos loaded. They are a great help.
My table space for next week will be either a 4 or 6 ft table (Aghhhhhh) So this weekend I'm working on my table display. I'm thinking HEIGHT ! I'll post photos tomorrow or Sunday .
All the posts keep my motivation going and build up the excitment. Thanks everyone.
