Hi Lisa,

I purchased 4 packs of 9 tile bundles on Friday from Home Depot. They even lowered their prices from almost $6/pack to under $4/pack. That made me very happy!

Good luck!!

Hey Ladies - I am preparing for my first show this fall and I was wondering how much you would charge for this Christmas tag? and how many would you package together? I was thinking 8 for $?, but then maybe shoulod only put 4 together for less ?
Let me know your opinion, its a 4 inch tag, its been inked, stamped and there is stickles on the antlers and nose.

Sorry! No longer live in WA, although I wish we did. That's just where we were when I first discovered SCS. We used to live in Anacortes.

I have an open house the 2nd week of October every year....I usually have a few Halloween treats but mostly do the generic papercrafts etc. Couple Halloween treats that sold for me were the covered suckers and little pouches with Halloween pencils. A lot of people bought them for classroom treats.

Last year I made some "BOO" kits with the sign and poem included in the basket and they did really well. BOO-ing is real big in our local neighborhoods. I'll see if I took a pix of them....

How much material cost do you have in each one? What type of packaging are you doing for them? I usually take that amount and double or triple it depending on the item.

Not sure that will help you or not? Pricing is so random!

In my gallery, I have a few pictures of my set ups at various craft shows. I go to garage sales and pick up plant racks or anything that I could see displaying my items on. Varying heights, different textures, even door shutters and screens make your booth inviting and attract people to come take a look and hopefully want to buy stuff which is our main goal

Hope this helps and good luck!

Carla, I love your set up. I have a question: the 2x2 tiles with the bible sayings on them, where did you get the verses from? I have been looking for ones that size but unsuccessfully. Thanks!

Hi Ryann! Thanks for the info! I found some at Home Depot but they had lots of holes on the fronts. Do you have the brand or UPC number? Did you have to sort through them before buying to make sure the fronts were relatively smooth?

Hi Beth! I thought about doing Boo kits this year. Would love to see a pic of yours and how you packaged them! What did you charge? I was thinking it could be used for an office too. I know "booing" has been really big where I work. ~ Lisa

Hi Sandra,

The stamps are from Verve and are a part of their Plain Jane clear stamp line. I LOVE them and their prices and customer service are awesome!

Unfortunately...I can't find a pix of my Boo Buckets. But all I used was one of the Halloween buckets that I found in the $1 section of target...put some shred inside and added some toy treats/pencils that I found at the $1 store. I tried to stay away from the candy since the kids would be getting a ton at the end of the month. Added ribbon and a tag on the handle. Also gave them copies of the Boo Poem to go with the Boo Bucket. I had 15 of them and completely sold out. I think that I sold them for $7.00? Can't remember.....{sigh} I'll go back and check my notes and see if I wrote it down....

Mine did too - especially since I bought the packs there was no way to select. I'm planning to not use the ones that have just too many holes.

I got 5 boxes at lowes this past spring and I opened ea box and took out the ones that had to many holes and replaced them with the smoother surface ones. They had a bunch of spares stacked on the floor under the bottom shelf not in boxes and in broken boxes that I used as replacement. This took a bit of time to go thru all of them but I ended up with all good ones so it was worth it.

I just purchased some off of Ebay from Oracle Tile & Stone, because our Lowe's store didn't have them anymore. You can get 9 with free shipping for $2.99.

The company that makes the coasters is Jeffrey Court Inc. They are the 4" light travertine tiles. The UPC code is 7-34647-67542-9

Default Altered Clothespins

Hi There!
I have been working on altered clothespins today...just finished the poinsettia design a little bit a go. Got a bunch more on the camera, but my battery died and I can't upload them tonight. I'll post a few more once I get them charged.
100_5840.jpg

The clothespins were another good seller for me over the last couple of years...the few that I did have left, I used as decorations on gifts bags and presents for the family! They have those really strong magnets on the back so they will hold a ton of stuff on the frig.

Goodnight All!
Beth

So what sort of things sell well at craft fairs in th UK? I know that Crackers are big over there (been trying to buy the snaps but most places don't want to sell them to people in the US). What are craft fairs in the UK like?

Let's do a "Crafter Swap"! I'll come stay in your house for a week and you can come to the US and Kentucky for a week! I love the UK, but haven't visited for a few years!

You can have a great time visiting the stores and I will re-visit some history!!!
Beth

Jenn - can you share the link or which ones you bought? Have you gotten them yet? TFS! ~ Lisa
