They're so cute! I don't have any experience selling tags so can't help you with the pricing but I would think that people would like to mix and match if you've other tags.
Hi ladies,
A very quick hello to you all. I have been offline for a couple of weeks as I cut, filled, glued etc. I have been very fortunate this year and had great craft fair sales. I made almost 2000 euro for charity. Last fair was yesterday. I spent nearly all day today learning how to make a video. Boy am I tired. It was a challenge, difficult but worth it now I'm finished. The video is now posted and I'll post tomorrow all details of the fairs, items I sold, how many of each item and how much for.
I'll also have a read of all the posts I missed. I'm off to bed now as it is very late. Many thanks to all of you for all your help this year. It is really appreciated.

Beautiful items - all of them!
I am definitely going to have to try to make one of those wreaths for my door.

Great video and your projects look beautiful! Glad you did well.
Well yesterday was a good day....craft fair at my kids high school to benefit the scholarship program...so lots of shoppers, not quite as many buyers though, LOL.
But, I have to say, I am thankful I am not a jewelry vendor....out of 30 tables, at least 15 were jewelry! Quite a variety of different jewelry styles, but still....! I was the only papercrafter...or so I thought! Turns out there was another person that had cards on their table, along with other things....I didn't see them when i walked around, but someone told me she had some.
anyway...sold out of the lip balm purses and the m&m sticks...wish I had more (although to be honest, I didn't have as many as I had wanted to make)
Sold two of my "peace, love, cheer" frames and a bunch of the little chocolate snowmen thingies and a bunch of my owl clothespins.
Oh and I sold out of my Santa suit wine tags...so all in all a good day...saw a bunch of people i haven't seen in awhile and met two new potential customers for my classes and workshops and made $100.
And again, i am bit by the craft show bug and wish I could do this all year round!
I just wanted to take a minute and that you all so very much for your kind spirits and wonderful tips, tricks. & ideas! I am very new to all of this and just starting to get my feet wet, so places like this are so valuable.
A friend and I had a booth at a local craft fair over the weekend. We did pretty well...our combined sales amounted to a little over $600!! Here is a tally of the items that I sold:

Anyone know of a good online source for metal embossable sheets (better than $2 per sheet)??
You can buy them at Lowe's. It's sold as metal flashing. I think they are 5x7 or something. They are sold in a package of 100 for I think...$10.00? It's been a while since I bought them. If you would like to buy them in colors and in color they are sold for 2.25 per sheet for a 9x12 sheet or you can buy it in a roll or a bulk sized roll at Monica Weaver's website - a Stampin Up demo.
Would anyone have the Santa kiss poem that was mentioned? I did a google search and only came up with hershey kiss santa kisses poems. Thanks for the help!

I plan to use this one (I don't know who wrote it):
Santa's been busy
Granting our wishes
So he dropped off this (bag)
of Santa Kisses
I am using red/white tic tacs for some and pretty red Sixlets from Joann's for some.

Very cute!
I saw those today. Are they tasty? I have never had them before.
I was shopping today for next year's supplies. I am done all my sales for this year. Now, I take some of my profits and buy some of the xmas themed items on sale. Joann's had polar fleece for 50% again, so I stocked up. They also have 60% off Holiday Home items...which includes lip balm sets of 7 for $3.99. I bought a couple of those too with cute xmas pics on them.
I've cut the top note die and embossed with various folders with no problems. I had to add a piece of paper as a shim to get a clean cut on the top note die. The only other die I have is the scallop envelope. I will try that soon to see if the score lines come out and if I can actually fold. I'm guessing not but I can still do fun stuff with the flashing.
Very cute!

They are tasty. The coating is really solid; the candies don't break apart in the bag easy like the regular Sixlet candies.

Congratulations to you! That is awesome!
If you don't mind sharing, how much did you sell the large altered notebooks for? I've always wanted to make them but given that they're $1 a piece I feel the sellling price would draw people away.

I had them marked at $6 each. Like I said, they sold quickly, so I'm wondering if I could have charged even more. The mini notebooks, I had priced at $3.50 each.
I'm not sure if they saw the prices between the two and thought that for $2.50 more the large one's were more worth it? I did have them sitting right next to each other on the table.

Forgot to add that I have a tutorial on my blog on how to make the notebooks, as well as close up photos of both the large and the mini's. You can find a clickable link a couple of posts back or my blog is listed below.
Finally got my photos uploaded, they are in my gallery, but here are some thatpeople have asked about.
Let me know if you have any ?'s
Cute stuff Wendy! I just bought the die for the peace/love/joy/whatever it says!. You said on your blog that you got the frame at WalMart - in the store? I can't seem to find anything rectangle (frame wise) at our WalMart that isn't a ton of money. They have a ton of other type of frames, but nothing much rectangle. I'll look again otherwise I'll need to improvise with the frames I have at home. For gifts, not sales this time.

It is in the store...i don't think you can get it online...it is $3. Now in my Walmart and in others i have been in...near the frame dept, they have a kiosk or end cap that is really inexpensive frames. It is in there, it comes in black and a walnut color. No brand name on it...just Walmart. The size is 5x12, but it is matted for two 4x6's...make sense?

yeah, it does make sense and I will look again. Maybe I saw the two 4/6 and just thought it came that way and I couldn't change it - WalMart makes me tired (cause its so big!!!) so I will try it again.
I should use the 17,000 other frames I have lying around the house that are NOT rectangle, but I want rectangle so I will look again!
Sorry I have been MIA. Just wanted to share a few things....
First when ACMoore or Michaels has sales on their frames, and an additional % off, that is a great time to stock up on acrylic frames for post it note holder frames. I went in on Black Friday (too late for the 30% off) and bought them on sale for 40% off. ($1.99-40% made them $1.19) Went back on Saturday as they said they'd adjust the price for me and got an additional 25% off. Which made them under $1. The cheapest I was able to find them was a 12 pack at Walmart.com for $14.
Next when you sell your items, make a point to add "Made by" on them! I had a cutomer buy some items from me at a previous sale. She called me this week very excited she had found me. I called her back and she ordered 6 more planners I had made, another $30 for me. She said she didnt know how to find me and was talking to a friend of hers in Florida (we are in PA) and she said that if I was a SU Demo I could be found via their Demo locator, which is how she found me. I had packaged a lot of my items in little bags to discourage little fingers from flipping through pages, and I added toppers and some, but not all of them had my contact info. I will be fixing that in the future. But at least the items she did buy had my name on them!
