It was just as cheap as remnants, and I had the entire stock of fleece to choose from. The 15% off entire order coupon is good through Saturday. Yea!

I did shop the fleece, but didn't have the 15% off total order but I did get free shiping! Oh well

We may have talked about this last year, but I'm not sure...
Did anyone make the snowmen with microwave popcorn instead of the Hershey bar? If so, how did they sell and what did you sell them for?

Thanks in advance.

Looking forward to seeing them!

With no fabric shops in our area (no JoAnn's, no Hancock, etc) I finally resorted to breaking my personal "No Wal-Mart" ban and bought some red fleece there yesterday, so Snowman Hershey bars are on my list of things to make.

Hi Pam,
Is the Hobby Lobby still on Woodruff Rd in Greenville? Material is always on sale there and coupons every week.

Sorry, I have no idea. Greenville is on the opposite side of the state. Sure would love to have a HL here in the Myrtle Beach area.

I just looked at that triangle box yesterday (probably because I looked at your site I bet!) and I think that would be a simple and cute box to use for all sorts of things. I hope you post your turkey boxes so we can see.

I saw earlier on this site (or maybe the other craft fair site - who knows!?) that people were using the candy corn for 'turkey toes'. Putting them in a bag with a topper - I thought that was cute.

And I love that turkey posted ealier here with the mint patty. That is so cute. I don't have that stamp but I'm going to try to make that work another way. Cute idea.

This is a cute box that they used as a place setting - using the 2,4,6,8 pattern in the resouce section: Thanksgiving place setting favors by neeesee - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

This one uses the sweet treat cups by SU! and its super cute:
Qbee's Quest: Turkey Treat Cup Placecard

You could leave the names off and they person buying it could write it in, or just leave it so no name goes on at all.

I saw these in the gallery too, and thought they were cute: Holiday Pumpkin Place Cards by LLINNYC3 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers scallop punch

I've seen the pumpkins done with the SU scallop punch.

they used a bull dog clip to put it all together.

I did those one year with the scallop pumpkin and sold a bunch of them - I didn't really get it, we don't use 'assigned seating' at our family events, but some do and they went over well. They also work for pictures too.

I may make some with the scallops. And some for Christmas with the SU ornament punch and clip. When I get them done (if I get them done) I'll post them.

If nothing else, they will hold my price signs on my table.

Can anyone tell me, if you make the hot chocolate jars or the celophane bags filled with say skittles, does this require a food handlers license before offering them for sale. : ) Anyone in Texas happen to know our regulations?

I have sold the microwave popcorn snowmen the past 2 years and plan to sell again this year. They were my best sellers & I sold them for $3. I plan to keep the price the same.

Do you used the regular size popcorn or the 100 caloric size? Thanks, Pam

I use the regular size bag. Some people buy them at the dollar stores, however I buy mine at Wally world - 24 in a box for $5. The 100 calorie size would work too I think and they might be a good selling point in some ways.

I'll try to get a picture of mine. They're on a different pc.

I am interested in seeing the popcorn snowmen too! Is there a link or a place that has all the poems for the different "soups" and is there a poem for the popcorn snowman?
Thanks! I am getting ready for my 1st 2 shows of the season....October 8....busy, busy, buys!

Default Mini Frame Pin Cushions

Check out the cute little framed pin cushions Kimberly made:

Pin Cushion Frames - YouTube

The frames she used were in Michael's dollar section and similiar ones at Dollar Tree. Easy, cute and cheap! Can it get any better?

Watch your Staples ad next week. Mine has the 5 pack RSVP pens for $1.00! These are the pens most of the posters on this thread use when they put paper in the pen to match their notebooks.

Mary, I too don't have that stamp and have been racking my brain since yesterday on what to use. I'm thinking maybe I can try one of my doily stamps...oh wait or maybe I could get those paper doilies and use them! That would be nice, I can get the white ones and ink them! Unless they're too big...

Looks like the above link is from fan club gallery because it says I don't have access but from your description I get the idea.

I also liked the 2-4-6-8 box placecards that you posted.

Thanks for all the ideas!

How about Pick a Petal (recently retired)? Lot of fun prints on the petals.
I also saw a video that used the petal from the Sweet Centers set.

I'm with you on that one, Maria! The first thing I thought of was you're not gonna leave it like that? and then my mind start racing on how to finish the back. My solution would be to use the glass piece and trace the shape onto chipboard, cut it out, put the stuffing in it, put the fabric over that and then glue the raw edges to the back of the chipboard. Put it back into the frame and you're done - back is nice and neat. I suppose you could use the glass piece instead of the chipboard, but it might break if dropped.
Bought some stuffing and I'm going to try making one and some of the way that Anne made them, too. I'll be putting sewing kits from the Dollar Tree in those.

Natalie - you are so funny! I love the way you get to the point!
And no - they aren't dumb. I can see people buying them for teachers or seniors or just to add to a gift. Cute!

Thanks! I am getting ready for my 1st 2 shows of the season....October 8....busy, busy, buys!
I also use the popcorn from Walmart at 24 for $5. I sell them for $4 each.
People love them - and they say the popcorn is super yummy too.
