Mary-
Where did you find those magnet things at Michaels? Any chance you can post a pic of what they look like??
Tiffany
I posted a picture in my gallery of the back of the coaster and the magnets I used. Bought mine at Michaels, I think they were near the paint. WalMart has them too, in their tiny craft dept, by the beads.
Do we have to buy a vendors license to sell crafts made of stampin up products?
If you go to the Stampin' Up website and enter "Angel Policy" in the search bar it should answer any questions. This may take you directly there:Angel Policy - Stampin' Up!.
What kind of tiles do you use to stamp on? I've been using some Venetian Stone in Rialto White or Beige from Lowe's but having trouble finding it. TIA!
I get them at Lowes - they are the Travertine tumbled tiles
Hi Ladies! I just wanted to let you know it's "craft show week" on my blog this week. I am posting things that me and my crafty partner will be selling.
going back a few pages on this thread to see what I missed
Maria - cute items in the blog. (and cute dogs!). I like your post on the suet project. Made me laugh.
Cathy, thanks for your comments on items in my gallery. Those always make my day.
I did post a journal in my gallery and attached ribbon to the layers of card stock for the pen. I used satin ribbon from SU! and I really liked how it turned out. I didn't find it bumpy where it laid under the paper and cardstock. I think I'll do that for the rest of my notebooks (if they ever get done).
I love the suet bird feeder...that is a fantastic quickie xmas gift for just about anyone...
I finished a Halloween album for a design team I am on...I was thinking about making one or two more for upcoming craft shows...does anyone have luck with the altered albums? I had so many photos of the project I made it into a short movie...it is on my blog if you want to see the finished piece...

Maria,
Love your blog. My sons would love to have your dogs too. I laughed too when I read your post about the cases. Sounds like something which happens to me. I buy bits and bobs with great intentions too.
Love the bird feed idea. I think its a great idea for the fairs. Will definitely put in on my todo list.

LOVE thie mini, Debbie! Is it on display at Hannah's? I may have to come down and see it in person!
Thanks for the sweet comments...I put a lot of thought into this book.
I should have it there by this weekend...I have been fighting a horrible migraine and I am hosting two of my daughters bday parties on Saturday...I also have one more album to finish up...a travel themed paper bag album. Both albums will be made into kits and sold at Hannah's...I just don't know when.

I got a box of HUGE pine cones and wanted to do something with them so I glittered them and made tags that say something about your holiday sparkling
do you think they are dumb? including a pic
Very pretty. Your tag is gorgeous!
I have a ton of pine cones that I need to do something with, but not this year since I'm kind of pushed for time now. Two ideas I have are scented firestarters and pinecone wreaths.

just looked up making fire starters, , may have to make some of those too!!

If you decide to make these, here's a tip. Look at Goodwill or Salvation Army for a big old stew pot. I picked one up at Goodwill for $1 and save it from year to year just for this job.
To anyone making the Snowman Hershey Bars. Fleece is on sale at Joann's for 1/2 off. If you use a 15% off your total purchase coupon it is really cheap. I bought 6" pieces, cut 12" off to make scarves, and cut the rest at 5 1/2" per piece. I bought a pattern and a solid that matched and use the pattern for scarves for the solid and vice versa. The most expensive piece was 77 cents. So for under $2.00 you have 14 to 16 hat and scarf sets. Can't beat that price. It was just as cheap as remnants, and I had the entire stock of fleece to choose from. The 15% off entire order coupon is good through Saturday. Yea!

We made fire starters in Girl Scouts one year. What a mess (but that was the girls!) But Natalie the pine cone is great, and I agree - that tag alone is amazing.
Lots of great ideas from all of you on this thread. I love reading them all. Such great ideas.
I got my fleece for the snowman candy bars, just have to hook up my printer - hopefully it will work! My fleece was free - went to my sister's house and she dug through fleece she had laying around. I like free!
Thank you for all the wonderful ideas everyone is sharing!
I've a long list of christmas items to make but I haven't come up with anything for Thanksgiving. My first fair is on Nov 6 and I think it would be nice to have some thanksgiving items. Even after a lot of thought I couldn't figure anything. I was thinking about placecards but couldn't think of something unique - which people wouldn't get in a store. Could any of you please help out with ideas?

What about a fall banners...with pumpkins or "Give Thanks". There are fall themed candies out there now...how about fall treats decorated with cute little toppers. Fall themed cards are great too. Scrapbook layouts in fall a fall theme would be fun too...something that pics can just be added to.

I did pillow boxes one year (they were winter themed), but it could easily be done with fall colors adding a "Give Thanks" tag and using it as a placecard. Make an example and add a person's name so they get what it is.
I had orginally just started selling them as treat holders, but then the light bulb went on and that's when I added the tag. They sold A LOT faster after that.
This is the picture before I added the tag.

I like these pillow boxes by Lynn Put, too: The Queen's Scene
If this link doesn't work, the date of the entry is 5 Nov 2008. They would make nice table favors.

Thank you ladies for the wonderful ideas! If anyone has any other ideas then please have them coming too!
Lisa - banners sounds like a great idea! I'll get down to designing some!
tat2girl - I've the pillow box die so pillow boxes are totally do-able I love making them! It's so easy to do it when you've a die!
pamelak - those turkeys are so cute!!! Those would be great! Would you by any chance know if we still get the round peppermint patties? I remember reading on this thread that York no longer sells the round ones.
Jenn- You know what?!?! I'd been looking at the triangle box on my TBBM cartridge and wondering what I could do with it! You've come to my rescue
Now all I need is some fall themed paper and stamps to get started Isn't it surprising that after having so much of stuff, when you want to start a new project you always have a shopping list ready?!?!

I used Pearson Mint patties (from Walgreen). They're smaller and softer than York patties, so you need to use gentle pressure when attaching anything to them.
