I got a Staples coupon in my e-mail this week that is good for 15% off pretty much everything except computers. I think I may use it to buy some more mini gel pens, since I haven't been able to find them on sale.

I used scortape and when it sticks it sticks. Better get it in the right spot the first time because there is no moving it. I love the stuff!!
I love ScorTape too! I found a cheaper source for it too...THIS PRODUCT IS MANUFACTURED BY SOOKWANG and is the exact tape sold under the name Scor-Tape, but waaaayyyyy cheaper! Also like the fact that you can tear it. CLICK HERE

Funny thing about those post-it note holders. I've never sold a one in my online etsy shop. I just leave them there as filler...add them and take them away once in a while. Today...I sold the only 2 that were there. They had only been in the shop a week. I've made several of them...just figured I would list them and if they didn't sell by show time I would just take them out and take them with me. I just think that's sooooo funny.
Question on the sheets - I bought the full size black at WalMart - but I'm wondering if I should have bought the twin or two sheets. The tables I'm using at the sales are 6' but one is going to be 8'. SOOOOO, those of you have this kind of sheet experience, twin or full and do I need two sheets?? I assume one would cover the six foot table length wise but probably not the 8' one.
This sticks are cute but I agree about the price being on the topper and your prices are too low...and that can be a negative. Especially if someone is selling the same thing and they have toppers that look more like decorations....hope I am explaining this right!

Here is a pic of my display from last year set up in my dining room. My table is a folding one from Walmart and is 30" wide and 6 ft. long. I have a full size black sheet on it in the pic. You can see there is a little bit hanging over on each end.
What I really liked about the full size vs. twin is that it comes down to the floor in the front, and you can then hide all your boxes and stuff underneath.
I mostly used my 6 ft table and a couple of extra shelf units, but one show provided an 8 ft table. The full size sheet barely covered it lengthwise, but still draped down in the front. The tables were butted up against the people on either side of me, and you couldn't see the ends anyway, so it worked out fine.
They are cute..and I like your idea of printing on the computer (I would keep the price off though also).
Can you tell me how many M & M's fit in each tube?
Oh gosh, I have to redo them again? I redid them the first time to adjust the price. I guess I will leave the price off and redo them again. I have 43 so it's a lot of cutting and punching LOL!
I can fit about 28 M&Ms in each bag. I just bought another big bag of them tonight so I can have some more. The basket doesn't look full enough. I can at least not have to redo the toppers on the new ones

Beth, I love your Post It Note holders! They're so cute! How much do you charge for them? Mine aren't nearly so cute, but my customers won't see yours so I'm thinking $3 (I have more than just this one...I just don't have time to figure out how to upload 2 more pictures)
Had to take a break from candy stix....getting sick of them already! Oh NO! Made a few more Post It Note Holders yesterday... Today, I will have to go back to the candy stix! I have waaaayyyyy to many to make to set it aside for too long! Wish me luck! Beth
I really LOVE the packaging. Coordinating the item with the tag really makes these extra cute. How much do you sell them for?

I've been trying to find an economical tape and this looks pretty good! Is there a hand held dispenser to put it in or does it have to be torn or cut with scissors every time? Thanks!

Thanks for the nice comments ladies! I agree that the packaging really adds something to them...and keeps them safe from dirty little fingers! I sell mine for $4.00 at my shows.

No, this tape will not fit in a dispenser, but it does tear very easily. I use this and my ATG gun for all of my projects.

I got my little calendars in the mail today so I'm going to start that project this afternoon. I already have the coasters covered so I just have to add the calendar and embellish. I'll add magnet strip to the back of them as well. Its nice to start another project other than journals and sticks! lol

2 more designs for my post it notes...once I had the paper cut I could do these in about 5 min.
speaking of notes...last week when we all went to staples for the post it notes...my staples had ran out...but had the actual post it note brand...12 in a pack...for the same price. I ended up with 7 packs of post it notes and I'm almost done with all of them. I want to do the rest in guy colors (browns, blues, green). What do you think?

If you mean guy colors so guys can use the post it holders, I don't think men/guys would "dig it."
I showed my dh a small spiral notebook I had made. He said enthusiastically, "Oh, that's great." Then he said, "I'd like one just like that without all the stuff on it." Sigh.....
If you mean using those colors with women in mind, that would probably work fine. Lots of women like those colors. Not everyone wants pink or girly decor.

Just something more so that it's not all froof and floral. Simple...not so girly is more what I'm looking for. My son loves these (without the flower and front flap of corse) Guys not so much but for women who think they need to buy something for their guys.

I sell beaded pens and was surprised the first year I made them that all the darker colours sold first.
Beth, what size bags do you package your post it note holders in?
I know you didn't ask me - but the bags for post it holders were HARD! I had what seemed like every size zip bag on the market and they didn't fit right in any of them, then I tried my clear A2 envelope and they fit great! I got them from Amber and they are the style where the envie opens on the short side instead of the long side, which was great for packaging the post it holders. I make it so it opens at the bottom, that way the customer can take out the post it holder without taking off the topper. Then I put the topper on and I'm done. Really easy. Really cheap!

Thanks - we definitely appreciate your sharing this with us!!! Your post-it notes are just amazing. I have always resisted doing them, but after seeing yours, I've cracked and will be heading to Staples this weekend
Michaels carries the pink atg scotch..think 34.99 with 2 rolls of tape...the tape depot has one that is just fine too for $25.00...shipping is free when you hit $50. I have all 3 and they are all great..framingsupplies has the professional red one, but i think the pink one is fine too
