Default Candles

I have been trying the candles and they are very fun. I have been stamping on tissue paper in black then coloring them and heating the image using a heat gun and waxed paper. I have tried colored pencils and markers. I have 2 questions: 1) does the color run on anyone when using markers? I am having this problem especially with red where the white candles around the image is a pinkish color. 2) the candle looks a little strange after heating. After removing the waxed paper, I used the heat gun over the entire candle and gave it a once over. This seems to help a little but it still doesn't look as "clean" as the others I have seen on here. Thanks!!

Wink Candle suggestions

You may just be heating the candle a little too long. It really doesn't take very long at all, and each type/brand of candle is a little different. Try a really short shot with the embossing gun, and if the paper is not fully adhered, you can always heat it a little longer. I had the same problem with some of the colors running, and I had used the watercolor pencils. Heating less seems to keep it from running. HTH!

I find that images colored with sharpies run the least
