Default Bow tying help

Happy New Year's ladies. I am making cards today and drawing a total blank on how to tie my bows so that my tails are straight across (left to right). I am embarrassed to ask this, but I have tried tying them and I just can't seem to get them straight. I have done it right before and know there is a certain way to tie them to get them straight but I am just at a loss. Is there a tutorial somewhere that can refresh my memory? TIA!

I have been having the same problem. Sometimes I can tie a perfect bow and then I try to do the same thing and fail miserably. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Smile Bow tying

There is a technique that calls for looping the ribbon like the letter "M" - with loose loops for the top points of the M. Then you pass cross the right hump over the front of the left (creates a small circle at the bottom). Push the loop (originally the right one) behind the left hump/loop and bring it through the circle. I can't remember where I read the technique but if I find it, I'll let you know. If not, I'll try to take some pics and post for you.

Good luck!
