Default Blown Ink thru a Straw Technique?

In the first week of May there was a Challenge for this technique, producing several spectacular results. Does anyone remember what Blog had the Challenge?

Thanks,
Bahb

It was in the "You Can Do It" challenges which is below the standard, daily challenges in the challenges forum of Splitcoast.

Thanks but I'm looking for the Blog that hosted the Challenge. It wasn't SCS, which is a lucky thing because it would take more time than I have to figure out where in SCS-land I might find examples of the technique.

Me too! We did it with India ink - can you imagine a room full of 4th graders using indelible ink for a project like this? From what I remember, we were all supposed to end up with something that looked like a winter tree.

Oh Yeah!! I remember doing that in grade school too. It was real cool. We used sponges dipped in paint for the leaves on the tree.

It was one of many splatter techniques featured here in the Mixability challenge And here's a gallery you get by keyword searching "straw blowing" Last is the gallery for the You Can Do It challenge that featured the technique.

I've done this with alcohol inks too. I like that you never really know what you're going to come up with.
