Any ideas using ribbon as the primary element?

My friends and I have decided to try to do cards using some of the ribbon that we already have. I couldn't find if any challenges like that have been done - anyone got any great ideas?

There was a technique lover's challenge from a few weeks back about layering ribbon. Also, there are some great samples in the gallery with ribbon "flowers" and such (although I can't remember exactly what they were called now, of course). If I find links, I'll try to post them.

Okay, I did a quick search and here are a couple of things I found for you to look at -- there was a scrapbook challenge back in October (SBTC86) using ribbon to make embellishments. There have also been a couple of Ways to Use it challenges (like WT120) with ribbon - you can go to those particular threads to get ideas. Also, here are another couple of threads I found:

Thanks, Ann. That is pretty much what I was looking for. I think I have decided on ribbon weaving since it uses so much ribbon and that is our assignnment. I tried some ribbon flowers, those were fun too. you guys are great !

I happened to run across the ribbon at Mike's (I have a little ribbon addiction) and it ended up being perfect for the challenge. I think I saw something like this in a magazine once. Obviously you could do it with any color/texture combo.
