Default Stamped Candle ??

I am in charge of a craft at our next MOPS meeting and I am going to be showing them how to do the stamped candles. My question is.........Can you emboss on the tissue paper and then put it on the candle or will the heat gun burn the tissue paper? will the embossing melt again when you heat it into the candle?

Post Embossing on a candle

Hello...I just recently tried to emboss on a candle and it is possible....you just have to remember to keep the heat gun moving when heating the embossing powder on the tissue paper the first time so that you don't burn it. When heating the wax paper on the candle the embossing powder remained on the image I wanted it...Hope this helps...it took me a few tries to get it right....I would try it on a cheap candle first and see if it works for you.

I have never embossed on the candle nor the tissue paper, but heard it can be done. Another demo (actually my secret sibling) told me you can and she did it. I will try to find out how and get back to you.
