Default Need help with stamping on grosgrain ribbon

I have tried and tried to use the Flexible Phrases on ribbon but it kinda runs into the ribbon -- you know just spreads out and you can't really tell what it says. What am I doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Classic will bleed. Try Stazon - that works for me!

I used Staz-On. It wasn't "crisp", but it looked decent enough!!!!

Patti - try stamping off first. That helps make it more crispy.

I just saw a tech tip yesterday that said to spray hairspray on your ribbon 1st and it wouldn't run. Haven't tried it yet but let you know when I do..
