Default marble tile picture coasters?

Can anyone help me figure out how these are made?

http://purchase.weddingchannel.com/c..._shop&uid=1114

They look to be made with something similar to tumbled tiles. Would modge podge work? I have never used that before. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Amanda

PS- I am trying to attach a picture but I can't figure out how.

Hey Amanda~

You're right they do look as though their tumbled tiles and I've actually made a couple sets using good ole "tumbled tiles" from Home Depot.

I have instructions on how to make them as well as a picture of one of the coasters that I made. However, I have not been able to upload ANYTHING in over a week.

Send me an e-mail at the yahoo address below and I will send you the instructions.

Default Tiles

I bought this kit for christmas and gave gifts with it...then found out different ways for doing this. The kit gives you two pieces of transfer paper (one to practice on and one to use)then you have to use a LASER printer to print your photos ( I went to Office Max). The paper is like a thin plastic that you cut the shape of the tile then put it upside down and wet it to transfer on the tile. Then you bake the tile, then you coat it with a sealer. I would not do the process again, I would rather stamp tiles now. Hope this gives you insight on this kit...?

Thanks for the info. That sounds very time consuming. Was it a specific kind of transfer paper? I might still try it to see how it comes out.

Thanks

Amanda
