Default Drunken chalks -v- polished stone

could someone explain the difference btwn polished stone and drunken chalks?

They look the same - is the only different one is on gloss the other not????

I'm, stumped and really need to conserve my reasource on doing ONE if they are too close to call - KWIM?

The drunken chalks are done with the petal point chalk pads.

Default Drunken chalks

Both drunken chalks and polished stone are usually done on glossy cardstock. They definitely end up with different looks. Because the chalks are actually liquid chalk, you get a very chalky look (okay, I didn't mean that to sound as silly as it did). It is a very soft look and I actually got a better effect with the alcohol and chalk inks than with the classic ink. Maybe it's because the chalk inks dry a little slower or just their consistency, but the alcohol allowed them to spread even better than the polished stone.

On one of my cards, I even took a cotton ball over it after it had dried. This actually removed the chalkiness, but left the color behind. Then I overstamped with an image in the chalk inks, so they really stood out against the glossy background.

Hope that helps explain it a bit more.
