Question Directions for Rubicoil journals????

I just purchases the rubicoil machine and it should be here on Tuesday! Yeah! I can't wait. And yes, I had to order it because of all the posts I have seen here. I have NO WILLPOWER! This group has cost me a bundle. Thank goodness my husband has no idea or he would shut off my computer. ;)

I was wondering if some kind soul would be able to give me some kind of directions for the rubicoil journals that I see here on SCS. I want to be able to make some when I get my machine. I would like to know the dimensions of the covers and the paper inside. Any other information or tips you can give would also be appreciated.

Thanks so much.

edited to include the ??? in the title. After looking at the post it looked like I was actually giving the directions. Sorry.

Hi Christina! (thanks for the card last week ;)) You can make the journals whatever size you want. You can cut quarter sheets of paper, half sheets of paper, 3x5 notebooks. Whatever works for you! Then, you just punch them and bind them. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I just love my Rubi!

Katie, there are a few sources to get them. I got mine from Laminatorwarehouse.com. I know there's also film-source, coilbinding.net, and some others.

I had told my husband that I wanted a Rubicoil and he went online and looked at them. Monday he told me that he ordered me one and it would be here on Wednesday or Thursday. Well, it came today and it wasn't a Rubicoil! It was a CoilMac. It is huge! It is very sturdy, does a wonderful job and will probably last three or four lifetimes. But it's HUGE! He said it looked better than the Rubicoil. The Operational Manual says it's a "professional and heavy-duty coil punch and binding machine." It's really great and I'm not complaining, but it cost almost twice what the Rubicoil would have cost and it's HUGE! I'm going to have to bind my whole world to make it pay for itself. BTW, did I mention it's huge?
