Smile Blind Embossing ??

I've been playing with my Cuttlebug today, trying a couple different techniques with CS and watercolor paper ... using watercolor crayons and blender pen, but not totally happy with the outcome. Then I tried inking the folders first ... which looked OK but not enough contrast for me.

What are the other ways I can add color to the embossed image?
And what's your favorite way to use the embossed piece once you've made it?

Thanks for all your advice!!
Pat

I emboss on blank card stock then color in with markers, pencils, Perfect Pearls, glitter glue, etc. I don't want to put any kind of color directly on my embossing folders, though I know others do it and are fine with it.

i like to emboss the paper and then just use my ink pad to rub across the embossed image.

that i have done also. Another thing to do is to spray a little water mist on the card stock then emboss it in the cb and it gives it a little deeper immage.
